Stewardship Prayer Dear Lord, It is you who calls us to stewardship in our lives. It is you who sowed the seeds of talent in us and have helped us to harvest a multitude of blessings in this world. Help me to be the faithful steward, to share abundantly from my storehouse of blessings to glorify your name. Help me to place my trust firmly in you, secure in your promise to multiply your goodness to those who seek you and your kingdom. All that I have is yours, bless me with a spirit of generosity. Make me a gift to others in your name. Amen. |

Stewardship Reflection Stewardship is a way of thanking God for all of the Lord’s blessings by returning to God a portion of the time, talent and treasure we have received. As Catholics, we are not to focus only on ourselves, but are called by our baptism to reach out and share with our brothers and sisters. God has taught us that you cannot love without giving. God’s most precious gift to us was his son, Jesus. What gifts can you share that will show the measure of your love to God? Stewardship involves a change of heart, embodied not just in a single action, or a series of actions, but in one’s entire life. |
