St. Martin of Tours - Valley City Ohio Music

Music is a vital part of our liturgies and is truly our "prayer in song". We number many volunteer Cantors, vocalists, musicians, three part-time musicians and parish music director. Current Musicians Schedule
Parish Choir The Parish Choir is the main music group at St. Martin of Tours. The Choir sings at 10:30am Mass every Sunday during the school year. If you would like to join the parish choir please contact Steve Dickson, (330) 483-3808 or Rosemarie Pierson, (440) 476-2808., for more information. Choir Notes: St. Martin’s choir will begin singing and practicing on Sunday, September 5, 2010. Practice will be at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (before and after the 10:30 Mass) every Sunday. The choir will sing at the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Cantors Cantors sing at scheduled Saturday 5pm and Sunday 8am and 10:30am Liturgies. Current Cantor Schedule Light of the World Prayer Group Light of the World Prayer Group Prayer and Praise meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. The group consist of guitars and other instruments. The group also does an annual PRAISE IN THE VALLEY CONCERT. Jubilation Jubilation is a music group at St. Martin of Tours. They sing for scheduled Saturday and Sunday Masses. The group consists of keyboard, bass, guitars and other instruments when available. They are always on the lookout for anyone wanting to make a joyful noise! Check Weekly Bulletin or Musician Schedule for dates. Glory Beats Glory Beats is a music group at St. Martin of Tours. They sing and play for scheduled 8:00am Sunday Mass except where noted during the school year. The group consists of several adult musicians combining with 5th grade to 12 grade musicians and voices. Glory Beats started in the Fall of 2006. The group consists of keyboard, bass, guitar, vocal and drums.
