RELIGIOUS EDUCATION INFORMATION
LIGHT Generation of Faith Program LIGHT Catechists - We need 2 catechists for the Saturday and Sunday LIGHT sessions (once a month from September thru May). They will teach the K-1st grade children. No planning involved - you will be supplied with a script for each session. Call Mary at 330-483- 3808. LIGHT Planning Sessions - The LIGHT planning sessions meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Education Building. Everyone is welcome to come and help put together this year’s 9 sessions. First Communion - More Information/Parents Confirmation for 9-12 Grade - Call the office for Confirmation if you have questions, call Judy Rundle, 330-483-3808. RCIA - RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, will begin in September. Anyone interested in classes for yourself or someone else, stop at the table in the Gathering Area for more information. Sacraments for adults; older children/grandchildren - St. Martin’s tries to make being in full communion with the Church a process that is attainable for everyone. We offer adult Confirmation that meets once a month on Sundays from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. Older students who need First Communion/Reconciliation (generally 5th grade and up) meet weekly on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. Call Mary Takacs at 330-483-3808 to sign up. |
