Parish Food Drive - Our Shelves Are Bare! St. Martin's food pantrty needs your help to restock their shelves. Bring your non-perishable items to the rectory garage now through Sunday, October 5. Some of the most needed items are: cereal, canned fruit, soups, tuna, peanut butter, jelly, condiments (mustard, ketchup, salad dressings), flour, sugar, and paper towels. St. Martin's, as well as local families in need, thank you for your generosity!

Blessing of the Animals All parishioners are invited to bring their favorite pets to the Church parking lot on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. for the annual Blessing of the Animals. This special service is held by Father Dunphy in celebration of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. It is a day to bless and give thanks for all our pets.

Attention Retirees and Homemakers The St. Martin of Tours ministry of the "Good Samaritans" is in need of Volunteer drivers who are available weekdays to take elderly folks to doctor appointments. The commitment would be for approximately 2 hours once or twice a month. We work in union with "Faith in Action." Liability is covered through the Good Samaritan Act and insurance is covered through Faith in Action. For more information please call Roger Fashempour (330) 952-0785 or Mary Takacs (330) 483-3808, ext. 234.
