EASTER VIGIL |
|
The entire celebration of the Easter
Vigil is arranged into four parts: 1. Service of light, 2. Meditation on all the
wonderful things God has done for his people from the the beginning - the
Liturgy of the Word, 3. New members of the Church are reborn in baptism and
sacraments, and 4. The Liturgy of the Eucharist. St. Martin of Tours is known as
"Alleluia People" who exchange the greeting: "Jesus Christ is risen!"
which is responded to with: "He is risen indeed! Alleluia!" Amen. |
