DIALOG Series a Success
The Buckeye Area Ministerial Association (BAMA) presented a two part panelist discussion on Christian denominations at St. Martins on April 16th and 23rd. The Panelists were Rev. Cara Costello, pastor of Spencer United Methodist Church; Rev. Michael Koch, pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church; Rev. John Atkins, pastor of St. Patrick Episcopal Church; and Rev. Tom Dunphy, pastor of St. Martin of Tours. Father Dan Fickes from Our Lady Help of Christians, served as moderator; and Rev. Steve Costello served as coordinator. There were over 100 parishioners from the various parishes in attendance who had an opportunity to learn the differences and similarities that exist and to ask specific questions on topics such as rituals, Scripture, sacraments, poverty, environment, abortion, homosexuality, etc.
