APRIL L.I.G.H.T. 2007 - THE POWER OF
PRAYER "The Power of Prayer - Ways and
Means" was the title for the April LIGHT
program. We began with a Lenten macaroni/fish
sticks meal followed by a song of praise. The
participants then broke into age groups to
explore prayer. Father Dunphy presented "Fitting
Prayer into Your Life," followed by guest
speaker Vicky Petro who introduced us to several
different types of prayer. The children rotated
through the prayer garden, a puppet show, and
various prayer lessons. The nursery was
available for the very young children during
Saturday night's session. There was time for
prayer practice and ended with Kate Takacs and
Jackie Gray giving their witness to the power of
prayer.
