LIGHT -
September 2006 |
|
September's LIGHT theme was based on Social
Justice. Seth Kujat gave a wonderful review of
the 50 states he visited and roofed Habitat For
Humanities houses in all fifty states. The young
children learned about homelessness and hunger.
The teens signed up to man huge boxes and
collect money for the homeless. Debbie Peinovich
and Carol Young both gave witness presentations
on the needy living in Medina county. There was
a skit based on Jesus and His call for each of
us to care for and feed our brothers and sisters
in need. In conclusion, Father Dunphy wrapped up
the session with a call for all people to be
servants for the Lord. |
