The
April L.I.G.H.T. program focused on the
sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation.
Following the ham, au gratin potatoes, and beans
meal, Father Dunphy explained what sacraments
are and how we can embrace and use them. All
ages then gathered in the Church to hear a
fabulous witness on the sacraments from Jim and
Mary Lou Beers. Their presentation was
thought-provoking and informative about our
relationship with God. The evening concluded
back in the parish center where there was group
discussion, scripture study, the song "Refiners
Fire," and then a blessing of all by the
children with holy water and oil. The conclusion
was a candlelight renewal of our Baptismal vows.
