BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS 2006
On Saturday, October 7th Father Tom Dunphy welcomed the parishioners who brought their pets for a blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi whose feast day was on Wednesday. Every pet received a blessing, a pet medal and a prayer card to St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. There were no fights or bites as the assortment of pets socialized.
