October 4th is the feast day of
St. Francis of Assisi, the
patron saint of animals. In
honor of St. Francis,
parishioners brought their
animals for this annual blessing
by Father Dunphy on Saturday,
October 1st. After the blessing,
each owner received a St.
Francis pet tag and a prayer
card to St. Francis.
